the story: “As a child, spending the night with my great aunt Maggie B was a treat. She worked the swing shift. So, I couldn’t even get to her house until well after my bedtime. On Saturdays we’d get up just before noon & head to the record store in her yellow convertible Dodge Dart with the leopard print seat covers, 8-track blaring, and pick up all the 45s released in a handful of genres. The rest of our day was dedicated to our weekly livingroom dance party. I loved being her ‘June Bug’.” –Rachel Gibson
